Today, we start our Fire Academy for our new recruits. We have 7 new hires from out of district that will go through a 6 week academy with BCFD’s core officer group. After completion, the 8 new firefighters will be placed on shifts and will start covering station 2 to add into our existing coverage consisting of current members. We are excited for these recruits to learn and be a part of our department!
